About Kittengumi: The Sakabato's Thief

This game presents a charming blend of feline adventure and detective work, set in a vibrant alternate Japan inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. As a branching visual novel, players take on the roles of Ryuudama the cat and Kumaneko, the panda with a cat's heart, as they navigate the intriguing case of a stolen sakabato. The gameplay revolves around reading dialogue, interacting with suspects, and making choices that lead to multiple endings, adding depth to the experience.

With ten distinct endings, players are encouraged to replay and explore various narrative paths, discovering how their decisions impact the story's outcome. The hand-drawn art style and Japanese-inspired music create a whimsical atmosphere that complements the light-hearted yet occasionally tense storyline. This game is perfect for fans of narrative-driven adventures and those who appreciate character-focused mysteries, especially if you enjoy the conversational elements found in titles like Phoenix Wright.
